Santa Claus will begin to use Field ID and RFID tags to track the safety compliance of his fleet of sleighs beginning tonight, Christmas Eve. Since becoming ISO 9001 certified 5 years ago, Santa has been struggling with record keeping for inspections, tests and calibration of his latest fleet. On top of that, Santa runs a large toy manufacturing and processing facility with many walk around safety inspections and plenty of equipment to track. Field ID gives Santa a single web based system where both himself and his team of elves can view and print sleigh inspection reports. Santa’s focus on making children happy means safety is a top priority for him and his team, making Field ID a perfect fit.
“Most people do not realize the advancements that have been made in sleigh technology over the past decade. To keep up with the growing population I have made signifigant investments in sleigh research and development which in turn, make the sleighs more dangerous than ever. Pre and post present delivery inspections are more important and frequent than ever”, noted Santa. He continued, “With increased safety regulations coming from NPSHA [North Pole Safety and Health Administration] and better sleigh technology, magic just doesn’t cut it anymore. I chose Field ID for their ease of use, fast implementation and online training material”.

The Customer Success team at Field ID were all fighting over who would do on-site training, but given that no one is allowed to visit Santa’s workshop the Field ID University was a huge asset to moving Santa from paper and magic to the Field ID inspection and safety compliance system.
