For many years, the construction industry has scored dangerously high in terms of accident or injury rates and other unfortunate measures of safety. But to be fair, successful safety programs are often celebrated to highlight that safer conditions are possible.
It is easy to get overwhelmed by the negative stats available when headlines about safety often lead into stories that focus on numbers of people getting hurt on the job or worse.
